In May the blogger Anne Marie Gee from Catwalk Schoolgates wrote a wonderful review on Lavender Hill Clothing.

Below is a snippet from her site:
I love t-shirts and I wear them all the time, but I have found it nigh on impossible to find a well priced, well cut piece. I love the look and feel of a new t-shirt and with designer versions now costing well over one hundred pounds, they are not something for everyday.
I have bought American Vintage in the past, but I find the material too thin and though the trapeze look works with jeans it is not a brand you can wear with a skirt or a suit.
Then I came across Lavender Hill Clothing.
Be still my beating heart! The t-shirts are super soft , well cut, come in lots of different shapes and the best bit? They only cost around thirty pounds.
The fabric is a modal and cotton mix, especially manufactured for the brand. The t-shirts are made here in the UK and the patterns are hand drawn by experienced cutters- you can see why these t-shirts fit.
I love that they are not too fitted but at the same time they are not baggy. This is something I found impossible to find before. I went up a size, as I like a looser fit. They come in different colours, and the material is thick enough that you cannot see your underwear.
This is my find of 2015. I the love that the owner- Isobel Ridley- is fully involved in her brand from the design to the manufacture, and this is obvious when you see the end product. This is a brand set for great things.
