Our Ethical and Sustainable Policy
At Lavender Hill Clothing we are dedicated to producing clothing that is ethical and sustainable. We work closely with the best factories in the UK and Europe to ensure we have full transparency on where our materials are sourced, the production methods used and the welfare of employees.
Making sure our company values are matched is an integral part of producing our products and something we would never compromise on for profit. Explore key facts on our ethical and sustainable clothing below.

Made in the UK & Europe
We are proud to manufacture in the UK and Europe and to comply to European health, safety, minimum wage and employment laws.

Fair Trade
We make sure that all of the workers in our factories are paid fairly and are never exploited in ‘sweatshop’ or equivalent conditions.

Sustainable
We only use natural fibres and use carbon neutral factories were possible. Our core fabric is Modal, which derives from beech trees.

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. Our fabric is produced in a CO2 neutral environment and we endeavour to keep our plastic consumption to a minimum. Nearly all of our packaging is recyclable.

Empowering communities
We work with factories that empower their local communities. For example, our factory in Leicester has an academy that trains unemployed residents in sewing, allowing them to seek skilled work in the future.

Non-toxic dyes
Part of our core philosophy is producing clothes that are kinder to our environment and as sustainable as possible. That’s why our dyes are natural and plant-based, meaning we don’t use any strong chemicals.
